Joy Care offers healthcare training courses (through external bodies) to all new and existing workers. Here at Joy Care we feel this is a paramount factor within the Social Care industry in order to maintain high levels of practice and to encourage career development.

We are approved by Care For Skills and therefore are able to offer these courses at greatly reduced prices. Below is a brief outline of the type of courses available:

• First Aid (various types e.g. at work, appointed persons)
• Moving & Handling
• Administration of Medication
• Protection of Vulnerable Adults
• Food Hygiene
• Health & Safety
• NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care
• Physical Intervention

 CRIMINAL RECORDS BUREAU

All new employees are CRB checked. Proof of identity must be shown and can include any original documents:-

1. Proof of I.D. a current valid passport.
2. A photo card drivers license (full or provisional)
3. Proof of address (i.e. a bank statement or a utility bill less than three months old)
4. Proof of National Insurance Number
5. 2 References/Referees
6. 2 passport size photos
7. A current CRB Check
8. All relevant training certificates
9. Records of immunization from your G.P.
10. A current C.V
11. and lastly a 5 year history of all addresses, to include postcodes as and where possible.
